built close to the church by the entry to the grounds of what is now grenville college is this c16 brick dovecot with decoration in dark blue headers, showing various heraldic devices, such as a big tudor portcullis and a pelham buckle, and with two ground floor archways and blocked arrow slits. the property had been a small benedictine priory before becoming a college of priests in 1415
