st. andrew's chapel is used as a vestry; it is the northern radiating chapel from anselm's building of 1096-1130, and contains c14 and c15 wall paintings, mostly patternwork. behind this chapel to the north lies the treasury and main vestry. the rib vault is later than the walls of c.1100, but pre-1174 fire.
