This must be the only part of the road system in the City Centre, that doesn't have roadworks. They seem to be adding boarwalks to the streets in this area. Glasgow is adding the wooden boardwalk‑style extensions in the City Centre to temporarily widen pavements, prioritise pedestrians, calm traffic, and test the city’s new “People First Zone” street design.
