Creeping Americanism in a Window

In Canada we've had the reverse happen. In my childhood, fir example, newspapers here used American spelling, but now they use Canadian government spelling, which is a mixture of American and British spellings. We've always used "jewellery", though, although we disagree abiut how many syllables it has.
