Dumbarton Rock at Dawn

The River Leven (Uisge Leamhna in Gaelic) is a stretch of water in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, flowing from Loch Lomond in the North to the River Clyde in the South. The total length of the river is approximately six miles and is very popular with salmon and sea trout anglers, trying to catch one of these migratory fish going up to Loch Lomond. Red sky in the morning. How did the rest of the day pan out, Joe? What a nice way way to spend Boxing Day. How are you coping with the corona-virus situation? No cups of coffee and no getting close-up to anyone. We're faring reasonably well as we live in a village and can get out for a walk without coming across too many souls.

When I took this photograph, Amelia, I repaired immediately to the coffee shop, and spent most of the day there. Due to the Corona Virus, I went on a tree walk on Friday, and spent the day walking in the woods in a country estate. Cheers, Joe

I used to upload dawn sunrises at one time because I had to get up at that time for work, not by choice, although the spectular sunrises I often saw did make the early starts a tad more worthwhile!
