Tarbert to Portavadie Ferry
MV Isle of Cumbrae, Eilean Chumraigh in Gaelic, was built and launched in Troon in 1976. She initially took up service on the Largs to Cumbrae Slip route before moving around the west coast first to the Lochaline-Fishnish (Mull) route and then the Colintraive - Rhubodach route service before settling in and becoming the regular summer ferry on the Tarbert - Portavadie route. Quoted from the Calmac website.
