o0o oh ...they are not featuring the good old knitted swimsuits that
stretched the moment you got into the water ;-) I remember my
Mother knitting me my first swimsuit ... I even remember the colours,
white and peach colour ... needless to say everyone howled with
laughter when I bravely as a little little girl got led down to the sea,
got in the water ... and oh my goodness .... ;-) I'll say no more oOo

That's interesting. :) I hadn't thought so much of the materials. These do look as if they are made from regular shirt cloth, don't they?

the wool my Mum used to knit my cossie ... believe me ... it ended up round
my ankles when wet ... I refused to wear it again ;-)

You know, my favorite item in the whole thing is an accessory: the hat with the sun cover (name?) attached to it the lady down front is wearing (assuming that's one piece). When mowing the lawn, I could use one of those. :)

Ha. No, that dark cloth covering the hair and tied about the neck. It could be a scarf under a hat, rather than a one-piece deal.
