Thanks Janis! I don't get the connection with The Hitchhiker's Guide To Galaxy. Sorry. But currently I'm reading the series again. What a strange coincidence.
I hope you got the play on words I had with Wibke.
She wrote, since she knows that I never set-up my pictures or the objects I photgraph, she assumes that someone had given away his spoon. In German the slang term "to give away his spoon" means to die. Like in English "to peg (or pip) out" or "to buy the farm".
I replied that even the opposite will be probable. I took the picture near the univeristy canteen and someone didn't passed back his spoon.
