I wouldn't want to unravel this one;-) I like the perspective, the shadows and the shallow DoF.

It is actually just basic knots repeated all over again ;-)

But the idea was to make it look like unsolvable mess.

great the way it disappears in to the background, and love the frayed whiskers to the fore

I really like your picture design with the blurry background very much!
By the way: The knot looks like the head of a snake with its mouth open. Attention, dangerous! Maybe a poisonous snake? On the head, right, sits a grasshopper with long feelers and looks at us very perky! :))

Thank you very much, Stevia =)

Yes, it indeed looks like some snake.

very good use of dof and perspective, but you don´t need a sword to unravel it :))

And that was the intention, to make it look like a mess ;-)

The end is showing, so I'm sure you were able to conquer it! Very good shot, especially for black and white.

I would love to have it in TBW and the other group.
Please accept the suggestion.

Thank you for the suggestions. Can I only contribute or do I have to join as a member to those groups?

Because of several personal reasons I have decided to limit the number of group memberships to minimum. More about this on my following articles:

Of course you can contribute not being a member!
I read both your articles and I agree with your observations wholeheartedly.
Actually I am slowly reducing numbers of groups that I belong to (here and there), too.
So I am not asking you to reconsider your decisions. No way!
But as an administrator of these two groups in question ('The Black & White' is the one I care about the most) I am asking you to let me see this photo among others that are there.
So? :)

Sorry for belated reply, Marta. I have now added the contributions suggested by you. Thank you for your suggestions and appreciating my photos to become chosen to your groups.
