Vyborg, Russia

An old shot I took in the beginning of 1990s. Not sure exactly what year it was. So, it might be taken also in Soviet Union. Vyborg used to be part of Finland before WWII. In 1990s many buildings there were in really bad shape. Either still not fixed after war, or just badly repaired and ignored. I hope this beautiful city looks better today.

This picture I copied from old color film negative. Then I tried editing RAW on Linux LightZone software and GIMP. Colours are definitely not right, and plenty of grain of course. But I was surprised to get something out of this. And for my personal pleasure I discovered I have at least had some eye for composition also back then
