Whining helps...

Whining helps...
...at least on many first world problems. Yesterday I "complained" how "boring" weather we have here. I forgot to say the positive side, which is of course the absence of really bad storms like hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms etc. And today we did got a wonderful sunrise and sunset =D

a lovely sky and colour ... it's good when all changes
if only for a short while ;-) I have some bulbs in the garden
that have decided to skip winter, they think it's spring ;-)

we are by the end of the week expecting our temperatures to rise
into double figures ... this is crazy ... and it is unhealthy also ... we need
these cold sharp frosty spells of weather to kill off germs etc ... with the
floods we have experienced terribly in the last week with homes flooding
not just once but twice ... they will not be back in their homes for up to
a year ... it cannot dry out properly .. damp ... everything that brings
with it the things we do not want around us ... oh for some frosty
bright mornings ... seems unlikely .... :(

Yep, also all kinds of nasty insects are getting more common because there are not enough of those cold sharp frosty spells.

hedgehogs, squirrels ... little mice have not hibernated yet ... I hope they do not
get caught out ... but at least for them they can eat for a little longer ... ;-)

... after having lived a couple of years in southern California I fully agree with you, Sami. There we had brushfires in Summer, mudslides in Winter and earthquakes all year long. Here it's boring but safe :-)
