I love this sort of heating...........unfortunately we're not allowed to have wood burners in the area in which we live, so we have to be content with gas central heating, which doesn't have the same feel about it.

What a wondeful thing to have. To me, there's nothing as good as wood fire warmth.

I get the feeling that this fireplace is a kind of center of your house - is that why you chose to photograph it for the event?

It is one of the most important things for our comfort in wintery cold days. Even the cat thinks so!!

It's been so hot here, that when I first saw your photo I was confused. But of course the fact that we are a world community here on ipernity helped me figure out why a fire would be your choice for our event. (That and reminding myself what part of our world you live in.)

And you have a cat! I am missing having one, time to start searching for our next.
