Ich finde dieses Bild eines Mannes, der allein den Fluss betrachtet, sehr poetisch, lieber Erich.

The river flows and so do our thoughts, that's so true. The effect nature and above all water may have on our minds is so beneficial and relaxing. Meditation comes naturally when looking at the sea or at a river and we feel better.

In your beautiful picture the bench the man is sitting on is the trunk of a tree and this enhances the sense of communion with nature. The choice of black and white completes the harmony of the scene .
