What a beautiful place, I am sure it was such fun to visit. Great view here, but you know, as much as I love the mansion, it's that ivy wall I'm crazy about! :D The architecture is wonderful for both buildings!

Hallo Erich, wo liegt das Schloss derer von Sayn- Wittgenstein? War mehrmals zur Kur in Bad Berleburg und weiß nicht mehr genau, wie das Schloss dort ausgesehen hat. Grüße aus Dresden.

Hallo Cämmerer, beim Googeln wegen des obigen Schloßes habe ich festgestellt, "Sayn-Wittgenstein" ist eine weitverzweigte Adelslinie. Sie reichte u.a. bis hinein in den russischen Adel.
Das Schloß in Bad Berleburg gehört auch zu einer der Linien.
Das Schloß in Sayn liegt nicht weit entfernt vom Rhein, von Neuwied und Koblenz. Die genaue Position läßt sich durch Anklicken von "OpenStreetMap" erkennen.
