Sein Sohn Franz Sacher benannte des Hotel und die Gastronomiebetriebe in Sacher um. Von Anfang an zählte das Sacher zu den besten Adressen in der Stadt Wien. Das Hotel Sacher in Wien ist Mitglied der "Leading Hotels of the World", das eine Qualitätskontrolle im ***** Hotel- Sektor sicherstellt, und gehört zu den besten Adressen Österreichs.
