Account number OR alias. If one has replaced the account number with alias, it is naturally very difficult to find the account number anymore.

In short, the number or alias is what is shown on the url right after ../home/, when you go to your Ipernity homepage. In my case it is alias 'serola':

Ich stimme dir zu, Erhard: bei den angedachten neuen volumenabhängigen Beiträgen ist eine Angabe des genutzen Webspace zwingend notwendig. Da ich vermutlich zu den "Power-Usern" gehöre (bisher hab ich alle meine Fotos immer in höchster Auflösung hochgeladen), wäre für mich auch eine automatische Möglichkeit zur nachträglichen Reduzierung auf z.B. 2048p wünschenswert.
Es ist illusorisch rund 75.000 Fotos jetzt noch von Hand kleinzurechnen und zu ersetzen. Leider dürfte das wohl an den Programmier-Kosten scheitern...

Genau das war mein Gedanke. Bei mir sieht es nicht ganz so aus - aber man möchte ja wissen wo man steht und vielleicht auch seinen Beitrag zur Speicherplatzminimierung leisten.

"If one has replaced the account number with alias, it is naturally very difficult to find the account number anymore." - that's just another description of the effect, but it's not a real explanation why it is so ,-) Of course, in many communities, it is no problem at all to keep the unique account number after an alias has been chosen.
