It's recommendable ,rough nature and landscapes , special the temples of Luang Prabang ,Vientiane the capital of Laos the beautyful markets ,the Mekong river , more remote of the cities ,Nong Khiaw is a very beautyful place with exuberant overgrown mountains ,where the river Nam Ou traverse the village and from here many longboats gone to the far North of Laos ,more in the south the village Thakhek is an interesting operating base for driving among the impresive Karst mountains with motorbike ,Pakse a bigger place in the far south ,from here you visit several waterfalls also one with a wonderfull zippline connection beside the fall in the plateau of Bolaven ,in the extreme south the 4 thousand isles where the Mekong river is divided among these isles ,only some bigger ones are touristical developed such as Don Det ,which you can reach by a ferryboat,..
