One of the few remaining original pubs near the town.
The new buildings to the right of the pub replaced the original
Alexandra cinema (there were once five large cinema houses in
Aldershot, now replaced by a modern new multi screen)

I went to school in Aldershot, (Aldershot County High School) and my Dad used to play the piano on a Saturday night in a pub opposite the Mess. I don't recognise any of your pubs unfortunately, and the school has been demolished to make way for housing.,

Thanks for the visit. One of the pubs, The Garden Gate, is at the top of the hill by the Five Arch Bridge, think there was an alleyway that went from there down to the school past the Edgoose's timber yard; my daughter was at ACH, it closed after she left I think!
