A terrific series of these people in period costume Rosa. You have captured them in a very relaxed and natural way. Although the pictures look great in colour have you thought perhaps of trying a sepia finish in keeping with the period?

Such a delight series of pics from this event Rosa................I love the period dress and musical instruments, they all look fantastic and very authentic!

This sort of event makes street photography relatively easier, as all the participants are expecting to be photographed and most don't mind and will pose nicely for you.

The Thomas Hardy Society do a great job and host a lot of events at his cottage but this is the first of its kind in the town, on his birthday. Many members of the public also came in period costumes!
