I like both the pictures, but my favourite is the first, showing the quay everyday life and work in a well captured mess! :-). Colours are great, too!

Great shot of this workplace Rosa. The PiP explains the purpose of the 'mess' very nicely.

Have a good evening, Doug

Thank you Doug. It must have been a clean mess as there were no noticeably strong smells.
You have a good evening too :)

I love places like this! Used to know a nice place in Porthleven. Unfortunately it had gone when I last looked.
A very nice shot and PiP!

That's a shame Andy. It was nice to see it thriving here.
Pleased you like the shot and PiP.

I like to visit working quays too. I saw three fishing boats unloading their loads of scallops yesterday down in Portsmouth ~ great sight

Thank you Jeff. Lots of parking, if a little expensive. It would be well worth the trip on a nice day :-))

The fish stall....hmmm...what means stall Rosa?
In german a *Stall* is a stable...nevertheless I like the mess they left there ;)
I´m sure, the next boat will take this all away ;)

I would call this a fish shop rather than a stall Tanja....but maybe that was how they started the business. If it was an open stall they would have big problems with the seagulls ;-)

Where I was born there was that feeling, same as your picture.
Fishermen's quai, sea and honest persons.

Thank you for your kind comments José. I love to see a working quay with the smells and fresh fish abounding.
