This photo shows a fraternity pledge participating in a rite of passage for becoming a Bonafide member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Knox College. It is a race, where pledges must push a heavy, empty, oak whiskey barrel around a designated course using only their legs and feet. The victor is honored but the the true challenge is for all the pledges to finish this very challenging task.
