Great pics, Rick! The back row in the second picture looks like it might have some singing fellows. My friend's family have a lake house and their walls are still decorated like this one, with magazine pictures from the same era.
How great to have a lake house to gather the cousins together, too!
Is this the same one you went to with your grandfather growing up?

Thanks, Deborah. No, I never saw the house. I have a photo postcard of if somewhere among my pictures. I don't know what became of it. I suspect that it may have been sold when the wholesale grocery business that supported many of the Grossenbach families went out of business during the Depression. For some reason, my grandfather never entered the family business, nor did his brother. Perhaps they were not invited given their many male cousins.
