Looking down from the smaller cinder cone at Eldborg - notice the curious moire pattern in the gravel downslope. On and around the Eldborg volcano at the base of the Snaefells peninsula. Eldborg is about as perfectly-shaped as volcanoes get in Iceland - circular crater, level rim, fairly uniform slope. Almost like a volcanic bundt cake.

Next time, I'm renting one of these babies.
