Thank you so much. I'm kind of working on a series of photos called 'translations'. Taking one photo and finding a new photo within the photo. This one happens to be from one of my own photos, but I'm doing it with other people's photos also (with their permission). We'll see if I can pull it off successfully.

This is the type of thing I prefer to do with my photography, but haven't had the time to focus on this artistic direction very much recently It takes more effort than nature photos - ha! (At least my type of nature photo.) I enjoy making reality abstract just a bit.

The blue was a surprise from the way the light hit the object. Other images from that same place showed the lines as all black.

You have doctored this shot with much cleverness Laura.

You would naturally think so - it has that look about it. But actually the only doctoring is quite intense cropping of my original photo (thus, a translation). The color happened due to the angle and lighting of the day. You can kind of tell because the rust is still rust color.

We stay cool when we have power! Luckily it was out for only 12 hours, and in the night.

Like your project and like your photo, Laura. We had something like this the other day when a little grandson wrote all over our van with a marker.

hopefully not a sharpie! i love children's art, where ever one can find it. such freedom of line.
