The Námafjall Geothermal Area is located in Northeast Iceland, on the east side of Lake Mývatn. At this area, also known as Hverir, you will see many smoking fumaroles and boiling mud pots, surrounded by sulphur crystals of many different colours.

Bonne semaine.
Healthy week ahead.
Island ist noch ein weißer Fleck für mich, will ich so gerne hin
I assume there are warning signs up somewhere near.........do people ever get scalded by the boiling mud?
Proxar has replied to Keith Burton clubthere are mainly warning signs at the entrance....
Toll!
I wonder how the square format would fit in the context of this photograph.
Happy Easter. Herb
