Occasionally, the creeks that border my property flood. In 2004, they flooded twice. Once in September and then again in November as a result of heavy rains that were the aftermath of hurricaines. Etowah County, Alabama

Clarkson Covered Bridge

One of only 14 covered bridges left in the state, it spans Crooked Creek in Cullman County, Alabama. Built in 1904, salvaged and rebuilt after a storm in 1921, it is 270 feet long.
