Although I did not hear the story of this arrival at Oxford, it looked as though the DMU had failed; 47425 had gone to the rescue, with a barrier coach, but had failed itself and had to be rescued by diesel shunter 08507.

I cannot make out the number on the diesel - it could end in 86 but then maybe not. I am not sure of the precise location, but am sure that it was near Conw(a)y Castle. Duff fans - I am sorry I cannot make out the number. If anyone knows which loco this is I shall be happy to include it in the caption.
