This regrettably low definition image is an extract from a wider shot and shows the memorial to the reforming Liberal Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Victorian era. Seen as a champion of the poor and the working classes, his statue here has a weary looking young couple with their luggage resting against its base.

Sir Joseph Paxton, Head Gardener at Chatsworth House, was the designer of the Crystal Palace, originally in Hyde Park for the Great Exhibition of 1851, and later at the site in South London now known as Crystal Palace. He designed and engineered many more innovative glass buildings in the UK and France. He was a Director of the Midland Railway. He was Liberal Member of Parliament for Coventry from 1854 until his death in 1865. His bust is located south of the National Sports Centre in the middle of the park.
After being on the beach at De Panne in Belgium* www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/26182441 and before ending up on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool, figures from Anthony Gormley's 'Another Place' spent time scattered around the buildings on London's South Bank complex.
*They also had a number of other stopping places on their travels.
Getting good images of all the animals in relief really need visits at different times of day, as they are spread around an arc with some in full sun when others are with a nice side-light.

War memorial to staff of the London, Joint City & Midland Bank, latterly HSBC, killed in WW1. Regrettably I did not take a photo of the whole monument, as I was concentrating on the sculptures that stand on either side.

The foreground is in Wilcox Place, the sculpture is in Howick Place, which runs across the view, and Francis Street is where the red brick buildings are.
I think that the pink hat may be an unofficial addition! I haven't Photoshopped it in to qualify for 'Think Pink'! It isn't there on the Google street view!
