It's a pity that this little machine can't scrub walls!
It was travelling on the route of the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. None of the vehicles was horse-drawn, so it wasn't needed for droppings removal. From the commentary at the finish line, several cars lost parts on the way down from London, so it might have swept up some valuable antiques!
This qualifies for World of Bins as it is a bin on wheels!

There was a bit of wierd stuff going on in my brain here. I was watching the veteran cars climb the hill here. I remembered one of my favorite books when I was young was Colonel Crock. All the characters were cars or other motor vehicles. Colonel Crock was a veteran Renault and he had a moustache which spread out from below the bonnet, much like the brushes on the road sweeper. I now have found a copy online and ordered it to relive my childhood a bit!
