Thank you Paulo. I think it is a bit sad that very few of the group's photos show the bandstands in use. I admit that I only have one photo of a bandstand with musicians playing on it. That will be added shortly. I can remember, back in the 1970s when our local bandstand had a concert once a month on a Sunday afternoon. I think that Eastbourne has at least once a week concerts in the summer months, but I don't know of others having regular concerts in this area.
