Intriguing. I haven't set foot in the Tube since about 2007. I've heard it's much improved since then. I like this shot.

I rarely travel by tube on the odd occasions when I go to London, preferring to see the sights from the top of a bus.
However I was interested to see the new line. It is really quick - Abbey Wood to central London in 20 minutes. As the trains are 9 cars long, the platforms are long and there can be a fair amount of walking, especially if you are changing tp other underground lines. It is all level access with lifts as well as escalators.

It looks very impressive very different to the old stations, I haven't been to London for years used to go a lot but it doesn't interest me now, pleased they have lifts I hate deep escalators

I lived and worked in London for over forty years, but we moved out as soon as our work and family commitments allowed. I am happy to go back with or without grandchildren, for specific events or exhibitions. My wife's mobility issues can't cope with travelling much. We rarely went into central London when we lived there.
