A great photo here of these iconic cliffs. Memories revived of my visit too some years back. The subdues lighting seems to fit well with the white cliffs and sand.

The 'subdued lighting' arrived as I got off the bus and started to walk up to South Hill Barn and the clouds stayed over most of the landscape until I was about to get on the bus at the Seven Sisters Country Park stop. The blue bits of sky were over the sea. At least I can easily return here, as I only live a couple of miles away.
