Newhaven - panorama of Denton Island & North Quay 29 9 2020

Taken using the panoramic setting on my Panasonic compact.
Denton Island, on the left has a small group of retail shops, a branch of a further education college and a number of boat yards. The River Ouse flows around both sides of it. The only way on and off the island is on the bridge to the left.
North Quay has a waste to energy plant, whose two slim white chimneys can be see to the right of the shops. Most of the rest of the quay and the land behind it has construction aggregates depots. Some arrives by sea, but most is delivered by rail.
