Beauty in the bin

Beauty in the bin
It's not often that you look into a garden waste bin and want to take a picture. Our local council collects garden waste, left out in wheelie-bins, once a fortnight, except for a month around New Year. Having done a major round of dead-heading the roses, the top of the load in the bin looked colourful, if a bit brown around the edges. So out came the camera.

John FitzGerald, Richard Chamberlain have particularly liked this photo

The roses in our garden were almost all there when we bought the house and are a lovely mix of colours, even when they are past their best.

Thanks John, but it was a bit like the old saying about 'shooting fish in a barrel.' I finished dead-heading the roses - for that day at least - looked in the bin and went for my camera. I suppose it's that thing about seeing a picture in something fairly ordinary.
