This late-11th century flint downland church is in a lovely setting, at the top of a hill, with a pond beside it and a forest beyond. This face looks out over the South Downs towards Beachy Head.
The pond is believed to pre-date the Domesday Book and as it is man-made it has been scheduled as an ancient monument.
