Hastings Pier from above - 18.10.2018

Hastings Pier from above - 18.10.2018
The owner's gold coloured buggy can be seen at the bottom left, along with a strange collection of life-sized animals, some like the cow out in the open, others corralled in low shub filled planters.

Does the TV series 'Foyles War' show parts of Hastings or does it use other places to represent it as it was?

Although I watched most of the episodes when it was first 'on air' I didn't know where it was filmed, so I searched and found this listing
www.imdb.com/title/tt0310455/locations
This view is of the recently restored pier. There are other views of it before and after the fire, elsewhere in my Hastings album.
There have been a couple of new films made in and around Seaford recently. I saw a bit of the action at our station. Bill Nighy was filming 'Hope Gap'. I can't remember what the other one is called.

Thanks Phil. There is an episode which appears to have some scenes at a place like this, which is why I asked the question.

I have just added a couple of views, that I don't think I have uploaded before, showing the pier before the fire www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/47509090
Another nearby place which may have appeared, although it is not in the list above, is the De La Warr Pavilion to the west in Bexhill. It has certainly appeared in other TV programmes and films. www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/46292816
