The splendour of this view is enhanced by the tiny people om the shore. A striking and imposing view.

I rarely take my wide-angle lens out with me, but I could see the clouds looked good before I left home. I live about fifteen minutes walk from the sea.Without buildings the distortion it creates isn't noticeable.

Sometimes the best sky is not the one to the west, where the Sun is setting, but the sky in the other direction. I used to go down to the beach for sunsets quite often, but I am getting older and more weary and only go when there looks like a very good sunset.
