Frost Fair Southwark Bridge 17 9 2006 01

Frost Fair Southwark Bridge 17 9 2006 01
This group of five engraved slate panels are on the Thames riverside walk, under Southwark Bridge. They record the times when the Thames froze over for lengthy periods and fairs were held on the ice. They were engraved by Richard Kindersley. I haven't yet established who commissioned them.
