Beautiful, the seagull is a great add-on

Thank you, Zucchi. It can be quite hard to take a photo of the cliffs without a seagull it.

Terrific image Phil, cliff erosion looks to be a problem

Thanks, Roger. I have just uploaded a shot I took of the defences between the camera location and the cliffs you can see. Once you are beyond them until you get to Eastbourne there is no artificial protection, so the chalk cliffs are being eroded at a steady pace.

Thanks, Jaap. I think that the mixture of natural and manmade landscape worked well here. I got to Explore while it was still there this time!

A well composed shot and the choppy waters imply the moment was quite invigorating.
A couple of fences on offer but I can't see any atop the headland, where I would want their reassuring presence if I was to go there.

Thanks, Neil. The fences run along the two breakwaters. The old one is crumbling away beyond the right-hand end of the railings. The chunky barrier in the foreground is on the eastern/far side of the much bigger and uglier modern breakwater. Normally one can walk along about half of it but currently the Environment Agency is doing something to its entrance so this shot was taken across it. There are some railings on Seaford Head but they are set back from the edge as the edge is prone to crumble, especially after stormy weather. However most of the cliffs are 'protected' by notices warning of rock falls.
