Nice photo Phil. Taken when half the class already had German-style smoke deflectors fitted.

Dad was always,primarily a GWR man, but working near Bletchley and then in Ripon, in the late 50s and early 60s he took photos on LNER lines. I have been impressed with the number of good photos he achieved with fairly basic cameras and limited film resources, being a clergyman on a low income.
