Not really. The Great Orme sits above Llandudno in north-west Wales. It is a rocky outcrop with great views of the sea, the town and the pier. The tramway is just under a mile long and it starts in town, albeit somewhat out of the centre, so it isn't remote in that sense. I guess it could seem that way on a cold winter's day with the wind whipping in off the Irish Sea!
