Trains only run every 30 minutes, so a bench is very welcome, while you wait.
Mewsbrook Park is a very nice traditional park with well maintained gardens and lawns and a boating lake. My seven-year-old grand daughter said it was 'The loveliest place you have ever taken us.", which was probably a bit over the top, but a nice comment.
