CATHÉDRALE DE METZ

L’orgue, Renaissance, restitué en 1981 est suspendu à mi-hauteur dans la nef de la cathédrale. Un grand orgue lui faisait autrefois pendant, accroché au triforium de la façade opposée ; une association soutient un projet pour son remontage et sa restauration[réf. nécessaire]. Actuellement l’orgue principal est installé au fond du transept sud, situation défavorable d’un point de vue acoustique.
