Road through the Gramoz Mountains
Taken through a coach window.
The Gramoz Mountains stretch along the border between Albania and Greece. It was on this road that our coach came close to a head-on collision when a Mercedes car suddenly appeared from the other side of a blind bend. As can be seen from this photograph, the tarmaced area is quite narrow so avoiding action in a case such as the above can mean resorting to the unpaved area- or possibly plungeing down the drop-off!
