Feathers!

.. our 'Dandelion birds' aka Goldfinches .. have discovered the new feeder next door .. up to five fed and flew all around .. they are really fast guys .. usually see them feeding on the Dandelions .. so, that is why they are my 'Dandy birds' .. taken from 60 - 80 ft away Canon PowerShot SX40 HS (c) All Rights Reserved

Once upon a time - there was music that filled the air - it floated though your hair - swirled - got stuck in your pockets - sounded like an Avian Symphony - but - oh, that did it - that part wasn't a song - it was a 'yuk,yuk,yuk,yuk' - like Curly on the Three Stooges - then, back to marvelous music - it had to be this fellow or one of his cousins - Mockingbirds are just that - mocking - have you heard them 'do a chainsaw' - or even a Police siren - there is no telling the number of 'songs' they do - once counted up to 30 and quit ~ (c) All Rights Reserved
