Yesterday took photos through the window as it was still raining.... But overnight, the soaked, soggy Crepe Myrtle has bent to the ground .. These photos were taken from the deck Aug 4, 2018 .. This can be taken care of .. So many in the mountains and near the Coast of North Carolina .. They have real problems from all this rain .. To me,. this isn't what we like, but it is more an inconvenience .. Always a reminder to me .. When visiting a beautiful photo by Jaap - www.ipernity.com/doc/294067/46896226 His is much better, in my opinion - The composition flows better, I think - But I just wanted to see what I could do - With Day Lily inserts and a sea of green and Viburnum blooms - Top Left corner - Double/Triple petal Kwanso Across is Bonanza - Below Red Velvet Jazz ( don't look it up .. cause I named her ! ) Bottom Left - Buttery Yellow Dust [ that's her name for this year ] .. petals are 8"across - Background is Koreanspice Viburnum and things that probably sting ! Joy ! Yellow Gold ! Thank you, OK ! Skipper butterfly has discovered the False Sunflowers (Heliopsis helianthoides) under the Dogwood trees - She flitted back and forth from one to another - Checking - Is this one as good as the last one - Got to go back and check - One thing I've learned (from the exhausting days of butterfly chasing) - They return to where you saw them - So, stay put - You scattered the seeds - They have started to come - Just have camera ready to shoot ! Oklahoma refers to Pam J who lives in a very remote part of that State - she gifted me with the first seeds - Since they self-seed - All one really needs to do is enjoy (unless you want to send seeds to another Soul to enjoy) Seeds have gone to Diane and also to my niece - about 15 min. away --- No photos.... yet © All rights reserved * 1 PiP in each left corner * -- EXPLORE --

Ms Hydrangea .. Let's Dance Hi, y'all -- Decided to bloom -- The lady here gets perturbed when I don't -- So, this is just to humor her - If you know her -- You know exactly what I mean -- We grow and grow -- But she just tells us .. BLOOM .. Sigh -- Well. I have -- That should take care of her for a bit ~ ** 3 PiP ** The Redheaded Stepchild lives way over on the other side of the yard. Never seen her before. A Wildflower in the Aster family (think the Lady has stopped searching for a proper name.. many look really similar). But, what's in a name?
