Hockey Puck - From Mr. C. The Carolina Hurricanes (Canes) are my favorite Hockey team. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina they play home games in the PNC Arena. Mr. C. has been to a game with a friend and he said " The loudest house in Hockey isn't just a publicity stunt - it really IS loud!" Whenever on Bally's Sports - I watch them -- kicking other teams pucks away from our goal! Bally's does a great job in the broadcasts - in my opinion - The announcers/color folks all seem to know what is expected of them and they are professionals. When to speak and when NOT to speak. Wish the same could be said of other broadcast coverage - but it is just my take on it. If you don't have something to say - don't open your mouth! Moving some of the games to ESPN isn't too bad if AJ would learn when to talk and when NOT to, Then, some games are on ESPN+ and Hulu ... sorry, they are paid games and I'm not doing that - I will sit and grumble, though~! The coverage is all for money - understand that .. but don't shoot yourself in the foot by giving your audience below-par commentators. Yes - this is my gripe-session. DONE

OK - WHAT DO Y'ALL DO WENT WAITING FOR YOUR CAR TO BE SERVICED/FIXED ? THIS IS PART OF THE WAITING AREA AT MY ONE-OF-A-KIND MECHANIC'S PLACE. HIS DEAR WIFE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE -- RICHARD WOULDN'T DO THAT! AS LONG AS HE WORKS IN MY WHEELS.. NO PROBLEM - HE IS SUPER AND ONLY TIME I GRACE THE DOORWAY OF THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER --- IF RICHARD DOESN'T HAVE SOMETHING NEEDED. [ rarely happens ] THAT HAS HAPPENED ONCE OTHER THAN AIRBAG RECALLS. IN FLORIDA, HAD A MECHANIC WHO SPECIALIZED IN DATSUN/NISSAN. THESE GUYS ARE SPECIAL !

Got there in plenty of time - Just in case it was crowded - Fewer people this time than the 1st shot-time - But all flowed smoothly - Glad it is done, but everyone was so courteous - But, most folks around here are that way - Made this 'sticker' thing after some of my Florida friends "we didn't get them" - Sent to them - And sharing with my Friends here - Understand we may have different opinions on this - But, being happy is something I had to SHARE ~ By the way - had no reactions other than a sore arm [ not as sore as a Tetanus shot, though ]

The lane closest to the bottom of the photo is designated as a Right Turn Only ( used to be Right Turn or Straight ahead ).. The Center lane is for cyclists ... I wouldn't ride on that .. Lane where the car is is designated as Left Turn or Straight ahead .. Yet, if a cyclist is going Straight ahead ..They Must Dodge cars ! Who re-striped the pavement did a good job - But it is stupid .. not to even mention not safe NCDOT [ North Carolina Dept of Transportation is the guilty party ] .. When this was brought up at a City Council Meeting .. Our Mayor was told we have to wait for NCDOT to fix it .. His reply, "If they don't get out here and fix it - I'll do it !" [not unuusal for him -- have seen him on riding mower when the grass on the exit or entrance ramps to the Interstate gets too high - he doesn't wait for NCDOT -- gets out there and cuts it himself] Won't be surprised if I drive over that way and he has paint brush in his hand - he doesn't like to wait for the 'powers that be " -- EXPLORE --
