Butterfly + delectable purple flowers=Photo op heaven! Day 10
Purple flowers on the Buddleja davidii shrub have been attracting butterflies I've never seen before. The trick is .. to capture them & share with you. Once all the flowers, shrubs are placed, then I'll camp out for a 'butterfly session' !
The text below is from Floridata website.
"The tiny flowers are irresistible to butterflies. They are borne in long, 8-18 in (20-45.7 cm), cone-shaped clusters that droop in a profusion of color and stay abuzz with winged, nectar-feeding insects from late spring until first frost in autumn."
*cropped but no enhancement

It grows wild and every piece of rough ground in England. It was one of the first shrubs to colonise bomb sites in the cities. It can become invasive.. but it sure as heck feeds the nectar lovers !
"Miss Molly" is doing well !
