The Drum Bridge ~ Moon Bridge
Photography in some cases is catching the split second of time rapidly. At other times is waiting and being patient. I waited 25 minutes to get a people free photo of this stunning Drum Bridge in the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park .

It was not that it was busy.. very few people really but the spacing of them and those who just had to climb it !

La patience est une des qualités du photographe ! Mais le résultat valait bien l'attente de 25 minutes ! Il est original ce pont ! Mais sans doute difficile à escalader , la pente est importante et la descente un peu périlleuse il me semble !

Actually they are a tradition in ancient Japanese culture. The "Moon" or "Drum" bridges are amazing.

In all the years (decades!) I lived in that region I never climbed the drum bridge. The two times I was actually walking nearby, there was a big crowd around it, so it didn't seem very appealing. In your photo, it's wonderful, though!
