Silver-Spotted Skipper (Epargyreus clarus) & a tiny Crab Spider !
It was a sunny day yesterday... but the heat indices takes us up to well over 110F and as high as 120f a couple of days ago
Today... we are back to intensive storms and we are back at flood level.
This beauty made a gentle reminder of how it is supposed to be

Pam J club has replied to Malik Raoulda clubPam J club has replied to tiabunna clubNine years drought..... 6 weeks deluge breaking historic(120 yrs) records. Another nearly 3 inches last night. We are over spilling on the pond(the one I normally MOW) so that means its around 10 feet deep.

Pam J club has replied to Esther clubI am English... trust me.. it isnt my weather of choice !
Pam J club has replied to RHHI never thought I would see the day when I dreaded rain in Oklahoma. But its got to that point now. We are at flood stage every time it rains now because the ground is waterflogged.. even have quicksand. Nine years if serious drought(and fires yes) now the land is being gouged and ripped apart.
I have friends who live near Aberdeen in SK.. but very rural. They have not even been able to go outside for more than a few minutes because of the dreadful drifting smoke.
These extremes are so hard on all.. and the animals as well.
RHH has replied to Pam J clubSorry to here in the storms and flooding situation again. The damage your suffering is horrendous
